Upcoming Family Friendly Events
The lakeshore communities of West Michigan do a fantastic job of hosting events and activities that include the whole family. There's so much happening that is geared specifically toward kids and families as a whole, and that's part of what makes being here so amazing!
Every season in West Michigan has it's unique, fun things to do for kids of all ages- from babies up to the "young at heart". Indoors or outdoors, no matter the time of year, there's always something great going on along the lakeshore for families to experience together!

Friday, June 4th-Sunday, June 5thSilver Lake Jeep Invasion at Golden Township Park in Silver Lake. Over 1,000 Jeep vehicles are expected from across the country, with a Show & Shine contest, trail rides, Blessing of the Dunes, various social events, a Performance Marketplace and other family friendly events. Fish any lake in Sherman, Sheridan or Free Soil Townships. $10 entry fee; 16 & under free. All entries measured by 5:45pm, prizes at 6pm. Sign up at club from 7am-11am. Raffles, Chinese auction, sack lunches for purchase.

Wednesday pick up for Wednesday & Thursday meals. Friday pick up for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday meals (must order weekend meals in advance). Meals are free and non-income based. The packages include breakfast and lunch. Times/locations for meals are listed below. No pick up on July 5th (these will be included in the July 2nd pick up). The free clinic for girls in grades 5-8 will be hosted by Foster School Elementary Teacher Mrs. Fournier and each participant will receive a field hockey stick and ball. Register at ludingtonrec.net.

Monday, June 28th, 5:30pm AND 7:30pmCulpepper & Merriweather Circus at the Oceana County Fairgrounds- 1025 S. State St., Hart. The Oceana County Agricultural Society/Oceana State Fair is the event sponsor and tickets can be purchased at a discounted price ($12 for adults and $7 for children and seniors) before circus day from cm-circus.square.site. On circus day, tickets can be purchased at the box office and will be $15 for adults and $8 for children 2-12 and seniors 65 & up. No charge for children under the age of 2.
