Spirit of the Woods Folk Festival

    Since 1978, the Spirit of the Woods Music Association has put together an annual music festival, the Spirit of the Woods Folk Festival, held at Dickson Township Park, Brethren, the third Saturday in June. The festival usually features a day full of music on two stages, arts and crafts vendors, children's activities, great food, and a closing dance. Spirit of the Woods also presents concerts, dances, open mics, and special events during the fall and winter months.

    The 2021 festival has been altered to follow CDC Covid-19 safety protocols. The 2021 festival will be a "concert in the park" allowing for social distancing. For safety reasons, there will be no t-shirt sales, food booths or program handout. There is no charge but donations will be accepted.
